Finance & Admin Assistant
Location: US-OR-Sutherlin
Job Details:
The Finance & Admin Assistant performs a variety of accounting tasks involved in accounts payable, utility billing, budgeting, and finance functions. This position oversees and/or performs work relating to the maintenance of official city records, assists with budgeting process and preparations of financial statements and assists the City Recorder with general administrative tasks, prepares minutes, and attends council meetings.
Applicants for this position should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, supplemented by an additional two years of college course work in accounting or bookkeeping and/or five-years of experience in progressively responsible accounting.
